LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The cupcakes are AMAZING, the owner is great, the place is spotless clean! This is a must try! I patiently awaited the arrival of Yummy Cupcakes in Michigan, I had been ordering them from California for quite sometime before this place opened, the biggest downfall to ordering out of state was the shipping was way more expensive then the cupcakes, of course that didn't stop me from getting them from time to time. I have been in this place so many times since they have opened the owner knows me by name (maybe I shouldn't have admitted that since it shows my addiction to this place). The cupcakes are made fresh daily on site, not like the competitors so the quality and taste is so much better. I think I have tried almost every flavor they have offered so far and my favorite is the Fudge Yummy, Happy Day, Salted Caramel and of course Red Velvet. My boyfriend likes the Oatmeal cranberry and Carrot cake, although he hasn't tried as many flavors as myself. I have brought coworkers, friends and family cupcakes from this place and they all say these are the best I have brought them before and I have been to all local and some out of state competitors (Sprinkles in Chicago and Crumbs in New York). This place is definitely worth stopping at I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

The best cupcake in the metro Detroit area that I have put in my mouth. I had 3 mins and bae had 2 full size ones all 5 were very good. You can tell they make these with fresh and real ingredients.

Great selection and flavors. Can't wait to try margarita cupcake. Prices are reasonable. Location easy in and out. Bought a half dozen for my uncle birthday party. The look great. Box they send them home in is not the best. They all fell out of their spot twice and messed up the frosting. There has to be a better way!!

I find myself so fortunate to work right near the best cupcake shop in Michigan! Yummy cupcakes seriously is filled with nothing BUT yummy gourmet cupcakes. I've noticed that I only happen to like whippy frosting for my cakes/cupcakes most of the time, but ALL of their frosting including the buttercream are just as good that I make an exception. My favorite is the chocolate salted Carmel, but I've tried just about every cupcake there and none have failed to amaze me (even the vegan and sugar free ones). I've just recently joined the rewards program, since I find myself there often and for every $1 you spend you get a point, and after a certain amount of points, you can get a free cupcake!

Why would you go anywhere else for a cupcake in the Bloomfield/Birmingham area? I never will again. Taste, Love has NOTHING on this place. These are the moistest cupcakes I've ever had. Even better than Kara's cupcakes in San Francisco. The frosting is devine and my favorites are vanilla bean and Mediterranean lemon. But every one I have tasted has been amazing...even the vegan cupcakes are great! I also bought minis for a party and everyone loved them. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Hip hip, hooray! My all-time favorite cupcake bakery EVER. I found them when I lived in Los Angeles and I could not be happier to have them here in Michigan. Bloomfield Hills is a hike for me from Ann Arbor, but I would come from much farther (and in fact I have shipped myself their cupcakes many times). Specific to this location: the staff are very kind, helpful and enthusiastic about what they do. Being the aficionado that I am, I called a few times to ask about opening, hours, flavors, etc - and they were always patient and helpful. I had the same warm experience when I most recently called to order some cupcakes-in-a-jar (note that these require call-ahead) and when I mentioned I would be coming in to pick them up in the evening, the woman on the phone offered to hold aside any special flavor cupcakes I wanted from that day - knowing they often sell out before closing time. The shop itself is a little small and it is tucked away in an inconspicuous strip mall. I wish there were a couple of tables to sit and enjoy your cupcakes - my fiance and I couldn't wait the 1hr trip home, so we shared a cupcake awkwardly standing around in the store before we left. I also wouldn't mind if they offered water, soft drinks, coffee/tea... The cupcakes are just hands-down heaven in a wrapper. They are moist, rich and topped with THE BEST buttercream I've ever tasted. (Note that I prefer the sweet-sugary kind, not the light buttery kind.) Their cream cheese frosting is phenomenal too and maybe a little better if you don't have a monster sweet-tooth like me (try it in regular or cocoa-cream cheese on a red velvet!). I've never had a flavor I didn't like - which is saying a lot, since Yummy Cupcakes offers a TON of flavors. Various daily offerings (of which the "Yummy Cupcake" is my favorite) and a rotating daily special menu that includes some pretty incredible sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan options. My top must-try flavors: - The "Yummy" (classic chocolate cake with pink vanilla buttercream) - Red Velvet with any variety of cream-cheese icing (half/half is fun) - Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Cinnamon Bun, and any other cinnamon variety (like Snickerdoodle) - Mint Chocolate Chip - Salty Craving (it had a potato chip buttercream!) - Champagne Cream (was a special for the Oscars) - Strawberry Shortcake (had a rich strawberry buttercream and a light cream filling) ....and now excuse me while I clean the drool off of my keyboard.

The name speaks for itself- these are some pretty yummy cupcakes. I really don't know what is in them that makes them so inexplicably scrumptious... The cake part is the perfect crumbly texture and not too sweet. Even non-cupcake lovers (if they exist) will be converted! The frosting is a little too thick and stiff sometimes, but it still tastes amazing.

You say Yummy Cupcakes, I say Super Yummy cupcakes! Carrot Cake is hands down my absolute FAV flavor. I consider myself a connoisseur of the carrot cake and I have to tell you they have nailed it (the secret to the best carrot cake is pineapple). I am nitpicky about what my kids and I eat, so I appreciate that the cupcakes here are made from scratch, daily on premises. They have so many fun flavors, my kids can't wait to see the daily specials. They also have pour-over coffees.

So the cupcake fad has seen a lot of imposters and the hunt for a real, moist cupcake seemed to be a fruitless task. Until I found Yummy Cupcakes. Honestly, I've been to the hots spots in Boston, Chicago, DC. All of them continued to disappoint me when I took that first bite. Always so dry. Yummy Cupcakes isn't a fad or a trend. It's the real deal. Seriously the BEST cupcakes I've had ever. From the flavor and freshness of the cake itself to the quality of the frosty and the creativity of the flavors and choices. My favorite one was a vanilla made with olive oil and the salted caramel was fantastic. The next time you think about what kind of dessert you want to buy for your dinner party or guests or even a gift, skip the specialty grocery store and go straight to Yummy Cupcakes. Far and away the cupcakes you'll have and your guest will be happy. Mine were!

I just wanted to say again what an incredible gluten free shop this is!!!! I recently had a GF "frozen banana" cupcake there that was incredible!!! I've gotten their regular cupcakes for my family, & they love them as well. Wonderful selections & I'm mostly grateful for the GF choices :)

I adore this place, I have a dairy allergy and they carry VEGAN!!! I was so excited to finally find a place that carried the vegans that weren't little bricks. They are actually moist and delicious. Also having two different vegan flavors everyday is a treat!
